This hotel is set in 6 acres of landscaped gardens yet only 15 minutes drive from York City centre.
The hotel boasts an award-winning restaurant, beautiful conservatory and elegant lounges. The Parsonage Hotel has worked hard at building a solid reputation for excellent food. Choose from the table d'hote menu served at both lunch and dinner.
The Drawing Room at the Parsonage has a friendly and homely atmosphere and overlooks the gardens at the hotel leading into the conservatory, the ideal place to relax in the evenings. The Residents Bar is open during normal hours to non-residents and serves all drinks and tea and coffee throughout the day.
Now completed is a 9-hole putting green complimentary to residents. To entertain the children, count the teddy bears on the teddy bear walk through the gardens.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Choose from bedrooms in the main house, the coach house, the lodge or the cottage. Four-poster beds, superior rooms and ground floor rooms are available on request.

Superior rooms offer a view over the gardens and are located in either the main house or the lodge. Some rooms with four-poster beds are available in the main house; some rooms with curtained beds and jacuzzi baths are available in the lodge (both subject to availability). By Car:
From the north:
- Take the A1 exit on the A64 towards York.
- Exit at the A19 towards Selby and follow the road into Escrick Village.
- The hotel is located just past the church on the right-hand side.
From the south:
- From the A1/M1 turn off on the A64 towards York.
- Come off on the A19 signs towards Selby.
- After approximately 3 miles, drive through Escrick village and the hotel is located on the right-hand side just after the church.
By Train and Bus.
By train to York railway station and take the bus number 415 to Selby. The bus will stop in Escrick village.
